Coronavirus Food Assistance Program
The Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) is a new program created by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to take several actions to assist our nation's farmers through this pandemic.
DIRECT SUPPORT: This program will provide support based on actual losses for agricultural producers where prices and market supply chains have been impacted.
USDA PURCHASE & DISTRIBUTION: The USDA will purchase fresh produce, dairy, and meat from American farms and distribute to food banks, community and faith based organizations, and other non-profits serving those in need.
